Default Oil in Spark Pluf Well

EMERGENCY!!!! I'm supposed to take my family downstate in my 2003 4.2 Trailblazer to relatives for Christmas tomorrow (about 2 hours away). Two days ago it recorded a misfire in cylinder #1. With no time to get it diagnosed, I went for broke and bought a coil pack to replace and see if it fixed it. If so great, if not, then I would figure a Plan B.

I removed it and found it to be filled with oil. My main question: Assuming it's the coil (if not I'm screwed for this trip anyway), if I replace it, might it still solve the misfire for this trip and then I can address the leaking oil after the holidays? Or should I not even bother to try?

Only #1 is misfiring.

Thank you
