2024 Grand National Truck Show

In just its second year, the 2024 Grand National Truck Show will have tons of amazing rides and fun events to offer fans.

There are certainly plenty of great car shows out there for enthusiasts to attend – either as participants, where they can show off their builds or other sorts of sweet rides, or merely as spectators eager to check out what everyone else has to offer. However, while many of these shows have been around for years – or even decades – to this point, one of the newer yet more promising events we’ve seen emerge as of late is the O’Reilly Auto Parts Grand National Truck Show, presented by Classic Truck Performance magazine, which just debuted in 2023.

Now, the second annual Grand National Truck Show is set to take place September 14-15 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, and it’ll once again have hundreds of trucks, vans, and SUVs of every make, year, model, and type to offer fans in attendance. This is a truck-only affair, after all, one that also features live music, tons of vendors selling various wares, and other entertainment to soak in as well.

There will certainly be a lot to see at the 2024 Grand National Truck Show, with its crowning jewel being the World’s Most Beautiful Truck Award. A dozen custom pickups will compete for that ultimate prize, with the winner taking home a custom trophy and $12,500 in cash, but that’s not the only attraction. Rather, there are also 75 additional judged classes for categories including best display, paint, interior, engine, detailing, as well as two new accolades – the Steve Stillwell Memorial Award, honoring the legacy of truck magazine publishing legend Steve Stillwell, and the Tom McWeeny Memorial Pinstriping Award, recognizing the finest pinstriping at the event,

Then there’s the Grand National Truck-In, which is open to all trucks, vans, and SUVs, and provides owners with a place to cruise in, hang out, and compete for an award, all for a single day pre-registration fee of $50 or two days for $80, which includes admission for two, a dash plaque, and a goody bag. Attendees will also see plenty of themed displays that include a group of racing models such as jet-powered pickups and off-road trophy trucks, and a couple of very cool Bow Tie models, to boot. Those trucks consist of  LUVZILLA, a 1500-horsepower 1974 Chevrolet LUV truck, as well as 2-PACK, a custom-painted 1975 Chevy LUV with a twin supercharged NASCAR bowtie 4.3-liter V6.

Along with those displays, 2024 Grand National Truck Show attendees will also be treated to a group of “dancing” mini-trucks equipped with loads of hydraulics, a BMX stunt show, and the Pinstriper charity auction, where some of the very best pinstripers in the business will donate their talents in the form of custom art that’ll be sold for charity – or, attendees can donate a small sum and have their personal wares pinstriped, too. Finally, Dino Battilana, founder of Dino’s Git-Down, will receive the Truck Trend Setter Award to recognize his contributions to the custom truck hobby, and select vehicles from Mr. C-10’s collection will also be on display.

Tickets to the 2024 Grand National Truck Show are $20 for adults or $10 for children, though those under the age of five get in free – plus discounted tickets can be purchased at local O’Reilly Auto Parts stores.
