Callaway Introduces SC610 Callaway Camaro
Of all the tuners that work on General Motors products, Callaway Cars is one of the most well-known. While they spend a lot of their time tuning Corvettes, they don’t leave the Camaros alone. They now have introduced their SC610 kit for the 2016 Camaro SS, and it looks to be pretty awesome.
Thanks to the Alpha platform underpinning the new Camaro, Callaway was able to use their GenThree Supercharger that they originally designed for the Corvette SC757. The GenThree is a 2.3L Eaton TVS rotor pack. Callaway also packs on the cooling to make sure that the car can function consistently lap-after-lap in a high performance driving situation.
Additionally, buyers get a Callaway air intake, carbon fiber engine mid covers, an under hood build plaque, and badging throughout the interior and exterior. This lets others know you are driving something quite special.
The good news is the computer tuning is 50 state legal, and comes with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty to run concurrently with GM’s factory warranty. Your local GM dealership can help you make the purchase.
Speaking of purchase, one of these cars runs $54,290 (including the cost of the Camaro) or if you already have the Camaro (or want it spec’d differently), you can add it as a $16,995 option to the car.
