’69 Chevy C10 – A Classic Truck Lover’s Dream
Grabber Blue Chevy is everything you could ever want in a classic truck.
When it comes to classic trucks, they simply don’t get much better than Chevrolet’s second generation C/K. Produced between 1967-1972, these trucks feature some of the most iconic and beloved styling ever to grace our faces. That timeless, clean, boxy look has stood the test of time, and today 2nd gen C/K’s are some of the most collectible trucks around.
And this 1969 C10 is one seriously fine example of the breed. We spotted the desirable beauty in the Hemmings classifieds, where it quickly grabbed our attention. Because, quite simply, it has everything you could ever want in a classic box Chevy, from grille to tailgate. The Grabber Blue paint and black interior is a timeless combination, and both the bodywork and chrome shine like the Texas sun.
The truck even comes with two sets of Rally wheels: the classic 15-inch version with trim rings and spinners, and a set of modern 18-inch billet rallies. Power comes from the tried and true 350 small block V8, which is backed up by a 700-R4 transmission. 3.08:1 gears out back make for easy highway cruising, which you’ll obviously want to do a lot of.
Virtually everything else on the truck is new, from the interior and glass back down to the brakes and bedliner. It’s essentially the ultimate classic driver – reliable, easy to work on, and simply stunning to look at. Combine those attributes with one of the most universally beloved trucks of all time, and you’ve got a real collector’s dream.
