California Truck Invasion

California Truck Invasion has it all — fist fights, wrecks, and spectators nearly getting run over.

Car shows are supposed to be fun, entertaining, and above all, safe. Even shows that feature events like drifting and autocross take plenty of precautions to ensure the safety of both driver and spectator. But that certainly wasn’t the case at this past weekend’s California Truck Invasion. A whole slew of videos have popped up on social media documenting what appears to be a total free for all, and Jalopnik rounded them all up for our consumption.

For some reason, people were able to stand on the track while cars and trucks drifted and completed burnouts right next to them. Which, you know, is perfectly safe. One guy almost gets taken out when a car drifts into a concrete wall. And a whole crowd of folks is mere feet away from two cars running into each other. It’s total, uncontrolled chaos.

And of course, the obligatory fist fight went down.

Amazingly, no one got seriously injured or killed during the show. At least not that we know of. Stay safe out there, kids!
