It’s vintage, demands attention & looks like something a Sith Lord would drive. And it’s all yours for under $30K — no Jedi mind tricks involved.

If iconic artists Ed Roth and Norman Rockwell were around today and saw this shot of Old Glory flowing in the distance while overlooking such a gorgeous relic from American history, they would probably engage in a fist fight over who was going to put this incredible scene on canvas first. We spotted the 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS online, where it is currently on the auction block on Hemmings. A private seller is asking $28,500, which seems like a steal for such a well-preserved piece of Americana.

The beautifully restored vintage black beauty is in “excellent” condition — and it certainly looks it! Even better, it has only 1,100 on its rebuilt motor, according to the current owner in Kernersville, North Carolina. Adding to the sinfully sexy aesthetic of this incredible Impala is an all-new, blood-red interior. And topping off the sheer badass image of this beast are some big, beefy Radial G/T Road Huggers, which we’re sure provides a smooth cruise as you’re rolling down the street inspiring heads to turn so fast that you’ll probably be sued for causing whiplash.

The two-door Super Sport Clone has Saginaw 4-speed transmission and gets its power from a rebuilt 327 V8 with mild camshaft. Other cool updates include a new electric engine-cooling fan and modern sway bar links and bushings. However, additional original parts, including a bumper and hubcaps, are available to the prospective new owner of this rolling work of art. Also, there is one more add-on that is not mentioned in the ad but which obviously comes free with purchase, and that is the new reputation you’ll establish on your street as the coolest mofo in the ‘hood. You don’t have to be badass to own this Chevy, but it certainly helps.
