1990 Chevy Stepside Pickup

Looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor, this classic Chevy pickup is sure to bring back fond memories.

It’s certainly hard to swallow, but 1990 was nearly 30 years ago. Which means that locating a nice old Chevy pickup from that era is getting harder and harder to do. Most of these trucks that many of us drove in our heyday are simply beaten up and oftentimes cosmetically challenged. So you can imagine the utter shock we experienced when we came across this flawless 1990 Chevy 1500 Stepside pickup for sale in the Chevrolet Forum Marketplace.

How in the world has this old Chevy managed to stay in this kind of condition over the last three decades? Well, we have no idea. But the fact that it lives in sunny, dry California certainly helps. With only 71,000 miles on the odometer, it certainly hasn’t been driven a lot, either. The seller states that it’s been stored in a garage and well maintained over the years. And we have absolutely no reason to doubt those claims.

Outside of minor wear on the interior, you’d never know this wasn’t a brand new ’90 Chevy. The paint and exterior trim still looks stunning, and the seats show little wear and zero tears. The timeless exterior design still looks great today, too. And we’re obviously suckers for the good old days when Stepsides were cool.

If, like us, you’re still a little nostalgic for these days of awesome trucks, you won’t find much better. Sadly, few people cared for them as meticulously as this particular seller, and that means there aren’t many great ones left. So whoever is lucky enough to take this classic Chevy home is going to get a great truck for many more years to come!
