Chevy Shows off Fresh Lineup at Baltimore Auto Show
From a brand-new C8 Corvette to off-road conquering Colorado ZR2, Chevy had a nice mix present in Baltimore.
The weather outside might be frightful, but the dreary first couple of months of the year is also a great time for car enthusiasts. That’s because car show season is in full effect, at least the ones that fill our local convention centers with new and exciting models every model year. The most recent of these events, the Baltimore Auto Show, just wrapped up. And we at Chevrolet Forum were there to capture all the coolest new Chevy models on film.
The four day event didn’t see the introduction of any new Chevy rides, but it did feature a bunch of exciting ones we’ve already heard about. Perhaps the most exciting of all was the new 2020 C8 Corvette, which Chevy presented in Baltimore in the always-attractive Shadow Gray Metallic hue. Participants were able to see the new mid-engine marvel up close and in person, where it looks even better than on film.
Chevy also brought along a drop-top version of their recently revised 2020 Camaro. Sporting a freshly redesign front fascia, the new model looked great under the Baltimore Convention Center lights.
Of course, truck fans had plenty of great stuff to drool over as well. Starting with the Colorado ZR2. This orange off-roader was also equipped with a cool bed-mounted cage/spare tire rack, helping show off the many accessories Chevy offers in its own catalog. They just so happened to have a bunch of those parts in their own special display, too.
Joining the mid-sizer was another off-road-focused truck, though not quite as hardcore. The latest Silverado Trail Boss was looking rather menacing in its all-black suit. With nary a piece of chrome present on this rig. the red tow hooks are the sole obvious reminder of what this Chevy was built to do.
And in case you like to wheel on the weekends with the whole family in tow, Chevy also brought along a knobby-tire equipped Tahoe. With a little more cargo space, this big ‘ute is the perfect compromise for those who have to visit the soccer field as much as their local off-road trails.
The Baltimore Auto Show was certainly packed with lots of cool content for Chevy fans. And the Bow Tie conglomerate isn’t finished yet, with many major cities left to visit this car show season. So stay tuned, as we’ll be attending more of them in the near future!
