The Chevrolet Silverado HD 3500 is already a pretty bad-ass truck. It’s extremely capable. But for the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Chevrolet wanted to create something really special. So they partnered with Detroit-born Kid Rock to design a concept to celebrate freedom and honor American workers.

The truck features a custom chrome grille with the “Born Free” logo on it, plus a larger bowtie. The leather seats are in Sky Cool Gray, and even the scuff plates have a Made In Detroit logos on them.

The truck was then hooked up to a trailer with Quadskis on them, because well, they’re pretty cool. They are, of course, also made locally.

There aren’t really any changes to the performance of the truck, but that’s alright. In the 4-wheel drive configuration, the truck can tow a 22,600 pound gooseneck or fifth-wheel trailer.

If you’re going to be at SEMA, be sure to stop and check out the Kid Rock-designed Silverado HD 3500.
