Today’s Top Politicians as Cars Aims to Make Politics Great Again

Have you ever imagined what modern politicians would look as vehicles, more specifically Chevy cars? You don’t have to imagine anymore because The Revs Institute cartoonist Henry Payne has taken today’s popular politicians and reimagined them as automobiles. And the names of the mash-ups are equally as entertaining. For instance, the “Hillarius” is a fantasy car created by crossing Hillary Clinton and a Toyota Prius hybrid. Our favorite is the “Barackade,” a fitting tribute to the Cadillac Escalade and our 44th president. Check out some of the Chevy-inspired rides below.

Jeb Bush – The Jolt

Payne reimagines the ever-popular Chevy Bolt as “The Jolt,” an homage to former Florida governor Jeb Bush. Not surprising, the Jolt is upside after skidding off course, and it looks really confused.

Barack Obama – The Barackade

“The Barackade” is rather fitting of our 44th president. Not only did he spend all eight years of his presidency aboard GM SUVs, he played a crucial role in rescuing the manufacturer during the recession. Just like the Escalade, the Barackade enjoys great approval ratings by the general public.

Paul Ryan – The Ryverado

Made in the American midwest, the “Ryverado” is a cross between the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and the Chevy Silverado. Rumor is that the “Ryverado” is always on standby in case the “Grand Trumpeteer” and “The Pension” (Mike Pense Ford Fusion) get into a collision and are totaled. Also, the “Ryverardo” is known for being a lane hog and not sharing the road with others.
