Crazy Chevy Clip: Battling Trucks Take a Bubble Bath (Video)

By -

Take a souped-up Chevy truck or two, add some mud, water and…bubble soap?!? Yep. Then have ’em go at it in a game of tug-of-war. Priceless.

Whenever we hear the words “bubble bath,” we instantly think of Julia Roberts in a bathtub — wet, bubbly and singing along to Prince in Pretty Woman. Because, you know, as Chevy truck owners whose interests steer more toward MMA, beer and getting our jeans dirty, we don’t really go around thinking about or taking bubble baths very often. But thankfully, there is the 2017 Louisiana Mud Fest to give truck enthusiasts everywhere newfound respect for soapy bubbles.

Until now, we’d never associated bubble baths with badass Chevy trucks. But at the Louisiana Mud Fest’s recent gathering, lucky attendees got to witness the craziest and most unique addition to mudding: The Mud Trucks Bubble Bath Tug of War.

Now, we’re not sure if bubble soap technically turns “mudding” into “cleaning,” but regardless of terminology, it is one down and dirty competition that stole the spotlight at the Mud Fest. Watching Chevys and other unstoppable trucks get hitched and battle it out in a soapy game of tug-o-war is so awesome that it immediately overwrote those mental images of Julia Roberts in a bathtub.
