Spring Carlisle 2020 Kicks Off Car Show Season, April 22-26
Spring Carlisle 2020 promises 100,000 attendees, 8,000+ vendors, and 500+ auction vehicles across 82 acres.
It might seem hard to believe, but spring is right around the corner. And that means we can finally all thaw out and get back to work on our projects, or just plain get to drive them once again. Each year, Spring Carlisle helps jump start this process with a massive swap meet and auction at the 82-acre Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. And with 100,000 people expected to attend this year’s five-day extravaganza on April 22-26, it sure seems like a can’t-miss event for automotive enthusiasts once again.
This year, those folks will be perusing 8,100 vendor spaces for all sorts of cool stuff. That includes not just parts and entire vehicles for sale. But also collectibles, memorabilia, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Altogether, millions of items will change hands, making this a shopper’s paradise. And you’ll have a pretty good chance at scoring that elusive part or project vehicle you’ve been looking for, at the very least.
Or, you could attend the collector car auction that takes place at Spring Carlisle on Thursday and Friday. There, over 500 vehicles will cross the block looking for a new owner. And if you’ve got a vehicle that’s over 25 years old you wish to sell, Carlisle has a great deal for you, too. They’re waiving the listing fees for those cars and trucks unless you sell them. At which point you’ll obviously have to pay a commission. But if you don’t, it won’t cost you a thing!
In addition, those attending Spring Carlisle will also get the chance to meet Lou Santiago from TV’s Car Fix. Lou will be at the event throughout the weekend, meeting guests, signing autographs, and posing for photos. He’ll also be walking the swap meet and enjoying the event. Just like the rest of the international audience in attendance.
Personally, we’re just ready to get outside and enjoy some good weather. But Spring Carlisle offers up so many other reasons to attend that we personally can’t resist. If this sounds like your idea of a great way to spend a long weekend, head over here for more info. And don’t forget to purchase your tickets or register for the event while you’re there!
