Default 1990 Chevy C1500 Transmission connections

Hello to the forum. I am finally a member. Been reading you guys and you have helped me so much and now it is my turn to post a question. I bought my truck and it was missing a few things. I see that my Shift Modulator is not connected to anything. Is there a certain place this goes connected to? A certain port? Also, I have an electrical connector on my tranny but the electrical cable is just hanging. Does anyone know where this does connected? I don't even know what this connector is.

Any help would be appreciated.

By filter, the transmission is a 3l80hd which is family of the 400.

That truck would have had 4l60 from the factory. If someone swapped in a 400 the connector would be the kickdown. It is electronic on the th400. It really needs to be hooked up. I dont think its difficult, just a few afermarket or junkyard parts. You can find a wealth of info with a Google search, since th400's are swapped into nearly everything.

Thanks for the input. If you go to Autozone, it could have come with a few transmissions and this was one of them I guess. What would I need for kickdown? I looked only but don't see anything.. Also, would you or anyone know about vacuum for Shift modulator? ANy help would be great.
