Default AC issues

97 Chevy extended cab. I have replaced compressor condenser orifice tube and accumulator. My freon is good and I have cleaned out my evap core from leaves. I’m having an issue where on front vent mode I still have air coming from the floor along with up front but when switching to defrost I don’t have this issue. I can see the actuator moving when I switch modes and as hoping I do not have to pull the dash. Any insight? Really don’t want to pull it
