C10, 307, upgrades, HELP
New to the forum here and just had a few questions. I recently acquired a 1986 Chevrolet C10 Stepside. The guy I got it from to say the least had "interesting taste". I knew this immediatly because he had installed a welded heavy duty steel bumper, air horns on the roof, west coast 3/4 ton mirrors an so on. And thats just the exterior. On the interior was **** carpets. Cut through the floor with a hack saw and stuffed an old 307 with a 3 spd manual tranny in it. Dont ask me why. But I own it and heres where I'm at. the body is nearing completion. stock c10 chrome mirrors, roll pan, new wood bed, grill, etc etc. Now for the motor. I dont have a whole lot more money to throw at this thing but heres what I'm thinking. PLEASE Correct me if I'm wrong, ANY input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm told the motor is a 307 bored .030 with a "mild" cam, headers down to single flowmasters on each side. and less than 4 hrs on motor. It runs great minus the crappy fuel and clogged carb. For starters I want to install the Edelbrok 2701 Performer RPM intake topped with a Edelbrock Perormer 1405 manual choke carb, Edelbrock Performer RPM 1721 High Flow Fuel pump and a MSD Street Fire HEI Ignition with moroso 8mm wires and NGK V Power 6630 plugs. Am I heading in the right direction? Later on down the line all this could bolt onto a 350 and thats the direction with some more money that I would like to head.
Thanks for any input.

OH and I almost forgot I will be getting rid of the 3 spd manual and installing a 700R4 that later on down the road will be upgraded with a monster in a box kit. Thanks again!!
