1995 C1500 4.3, Upon starting it started screeching like a bad pulley would sound. Checked tensioner pulley and it was stiff so I replaced it, No improvement. The sound fluctuated a little when I turned the wheel to the extreme right or left so I was leaning possibly towards power steering pump, however I removed the belt and started it figuring if the sound stopped I was on the right track and the sound was still there. Gear change , moving doesn’t change the sound. There is a clunking sound when I turn the iginition off as well. No issues leading up to this, just cranked it Thursday and it was howling at me. Any advice or thought would be appreciated .
