Hello this is my first post here if it's in the wrong spot I apologize .I'm about to get a 93 c1500 from my grandparents that my great grandfather purchased new. It has the 4.3l motor and a 4l60e trans. The trans is non operational and the old 4.3 is pretty worn out. My question is what are my options for a engine and trans swap? I've got space and tools I can borrow from my uncle (engine hoist and all) this would be my first time doing a swap. What all do I need to know? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My goal is somewhere between 400-500 hp .maybe a little more .thanks again everyone .
