Hey guys, so I bought this truck about 2 months ago and I've been having this problem the whole time.... so what happens is when I start to accelerate it acts like it wants to go fast until it hits like 2500 rpm in 1st gear then it just accelerates extremely slow. And sometimes when I'm driving and I accelerate it automatically shifts into overdrive even when the throttle is wide open. I have replaced the TPS and tried resetting the computer and nothing.... any help would be appreciated thanks!!!!

 

Can you put it in 2nd gear, what happens?

 

yes I can manually shift into 2nd gear but it does the same thing once it hits 3,000 rpm with the no acceleration problem. I can’t manually shift down to first
