Default Reduced engine power light

Just started this last week . The reduced power light comes on and truck slows down to about 15 mph. I pull over turn it off then restart it and it gets me a little ways but light comes back on. Any ideas???? 2003 silverado

No check engine light? I'd either get an inexpensive code reader/scanner, or go to some place that will pull codes for free.

the reduce power message comes on if you have no oil or low oil pressure, low or no anti freeze, or catalytic converter problem.

almost sounds like a plugged cat, when they get hot it causes reduced power big time.it could still be other issues as mentioned.

reduced power will be displayed for a big range of things, there WILL be a code possibly more than one and until you know which codes its just a guessing game.

The same thing happened to me a year ago. I had to replace the throttle body.
