Don't give up on it. Sometimes it just takes someone else lookin at it and doin the work for you. Just wait. After it's fixed, you will love the truck again...Or if you already have your mind set, no one can change your mind. Just sell it.

I had the codes in my 04 6.0 and it was the MAF sensor. I forgot to hook it back up when I cleaned my K&N. It did the exact same thing your describing. Follow the MAF wires... could be a break or bad ground or some corrosion. One way is to read out the plug for continuity.

I seen a video on you tube and it was a ground cable on the air flow that was not all the way in .

My truck was doing the same issues but I changed my knock sensors and gasket with updated teal green and ACdelco knock sensors and harness then replaced two 02 sensors that were bad testing heating element with multimeter showed was bad heating element on one when I changed my plugs there was a small iridium tip broke off I switched to platinum just out of the box and issues went away also my plug wires were dried up and one came apart in my hand when removing spark plugs cleared codes with OBD reader then I took off battery terminal positive and negative let it sit overnight and codes went away also I used seafome half can into gas tank and finally issue went away just a thought.. water in gas is very common causing all kinds of issues..hope this helps
