Default Advice on Buying a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4

Hey All,
New to the forum. My apologies ahead of time if this post belongs elsewhere. I'm considering purchasing a 2006 Chevy 1500 4x4 5.3L. Truck has 133k miles on it. I'm currently driving a Honda Pilot, but Im anxious to get back into a pickup. I would be grateful if anyone could provide any info on what major maintenance issues I'll be looking at in the near future or what pro/cons I'll be facing in general. I'm aware that many times it comes down to how well the vehicle has been maintained. Just looking for common issues at this year and mileage. Thanks again.

Josh

133k on an 06 is great mileage. I would probably just do regular stuff. Go through the front end and change tie rods, idler/pitman arm, ball joints, shocks all around, change the oil. Make sure the trans shifts good and clean like it's suppose to. Trans and the g80 are really the weak points in the truck, if those are good then you'll be set for another 100k miles out of it
