Default Heater hose blown

Need help plz. I've got a 2005 Silverado 4.3 it blew a hose at the quick disconnect at the firewall, I shut it off immediately.i let it cool down then i put maybe half gallon of coolant back in it until it was showing full. When I started the engine it started fine was idling fine but a popping noise was coming from the front of the motor. It's like a clicking sound.... Any idea what it is? I don't want to run it until I find out what's going on.
