I just bought a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500. It's lowered 2in in the front, 4in in the back. I just installed a K&N FIPK Cold Air Intake. I plan on getting the Pacesetter Long Tube Headers Ceramic Coated and getting a custom exhaust made. After that, I am kinda clueless on what to do next. I am looking to get some nice power and response and eventfully make this thing powerful! Can anyone give me any ideas on what I should install next?

Well, save some money for beefing up your transmission. IIRC, the 4L60 is only rated to about 360 ft-lbs of torque, and the 5.3 is putting out 325 in stock form.

If you wanna put real power, use a 4L80e. And with 2k you gonna need some real work to hit 400 to the wheels. You're lookin at like 315 at crank stock. Best bet, take 5.3 out, sell it, buy a 6.0 and mod that to be honest. Cam, headers, cold air intake, exhaust, converter, and transmission are in the works
