Default Overheating issue 5.3L Engine

I am having a sudden overheat issue. I have changed the thermostat, and the water pump. The problem remains. None of the radiator hoses are hot. so I removed the thermostat the issue persists but is slower to overheat. I have noticed two things that have me concerned. They are, 1 when I look into the overflow reservoir there are little air bubbles coming up and 2 there is a bit of water coming out of the exhaust pipe. I am not sure if the water in the exhaust is condensation. There is no water in the oil and no oil in the water. The whole thing has me perplexed and I dont want to move into more expensive repairs if I dont have to.

Thanks,

Louis

What you're describing has me leaning toward a blown head gasket, bubbles in the overflow is usually a pretty good indicator...

The only surefire way to know is a leak down test.
