Default Service brake system

Brakes went completely out while driving. Dash lights went off and starting singing. I fixed the brake problem, but can’t get the light or sound to go off. I’ve disconnected the battery and that didn’t work.

Default Worth a try....

Disconnect the battery, let it sit for about an hour. Get in, turn the key to ACC, and press the brake pedal several times. This ~should~ drain every last bit of residual juice from the system and totally reset the computer. Mind you, you'll have to reteach it how to drive, so go do some surface street and freeway driving afterwards.

Good luck!! Hope it works!!

Thanks for the reply. Does it actually matter which lead to disconnect? And I’ve never had to do that, how long are you supposed to drive it on a road?
