My son's 05 tahoe doesn't like it's rear end anymore. If I remember correctly we're looking for a g-80 with 3.42 gears.

I know some other years will work, but does anyone by chance know the cut off years that it turns into more than a remove and replace?

1999-2006 use 3.08, 3.42, 3.73, 4.10 and 4.56. 4.63, 5.13, & 6.17 although you are unlikely too see the last two unless its for mostly off road.
