Default +18 or -12?

I am new. Just purchased 08 regular cab Silverado. I am going to be purchasing some Helo 879 wheels. 18x9 wheels with 33x12x18 Auttro Trail Blade MT's. I am putting on a 3.5" Rough Country lift. My question is, will the -12 offset good or should I go with the +18? I would like to hear from some that have been through this if possible. Thanks!

May have caught this to late but stay away from the rough country 3.5" suspension lift. You can do the 2" and the 1.25" body lift and be much better off. The 3.5" kit will only correct for tipper ball joint angles, so the tie rods and cv angles are still absolutely horrible. With that being said, -12 offset
