Question Engine Vacuum Test

Best place to connect a vacuum gauge on a 2009 Silverado 5,3L is?

Brake booster hose would be the easiest.

Big thanks,I had my doubts but I see nothing has changed , brake booster hose .I just got the truck and lots of things to learn on this one, coming from a 30 year old Chevy Astro to this electronic monster.

Don’t be intimidated. The mechanical side is all basically the same with a few minor differences (roller lifters instead of flat bottoms, for example).

As for electrical, if you know how to troubleshoot a headlight that doesn’t work, you can diagnose computer controls. The principles are the same.
