2018 Silverado Brake Assist problem on a boat ramp
Hey yall,
I have a 2018 Silverado LT that I use to pull my pontoon boat with and of course put in and out of the water. The past two times I have put my boat in at the ramp, as I am backing down to the water and at the most extreme angle I am unable to depress my pedal, my truck and trailer is still rolling backward and am forced to push in on the emergency brake in order to stop and not roll backward further and into the lake. I have noticed while this is happening the brake assist light notification is coming up on the dash. Any ideas on why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated.
