Coolant Leak! Help!
Hello! New here hopefully someone can provide insight.
Have a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 5.3
This all started with #8 fuel injector going out. Naturally it was seized into the head leading to a bent rail and injector tip snapping off.
After I Installed new head, gasket, bolts and rail, and threw everything back together verified coolant levels, primed and started, the motor struggled to turn over. After the 2nd attempt to start I got out and heard fluids leaking underneath with a steady stream of coolant coming from the rear. It’s leaking onto bell housing and coming down onto cross bar. #8 plug wire has a little splashing on the heat shield but other than that can not seem to pinpoint the leak. Does not appear to be coming from head bolts or the mating area, as everything feels pretty dry. Can not see any obviously missed hoses, Any guidance greatly appreciated!
