Hey All,
Been here a little while by rarely frequent. Last month or so, the area I live (Boston) had a day with severe winds. Unfortunately, my drivers door caught a gust as I was opening it and got pulled out of my hands. Needless to say, the door now opens to a 90 degree angle and the hinge side of the door sits in about 2mm from the fender. I can deal with that, just not with the door opening so wide... Anyone have any experiences with this and how to fix it?

 

hard to say without seeing pics. a body shop would be the best place to have this repaired. get a quote; and decide if you want to tackle this yourself or let a pro do it.
