2014 Silverado AC blows warm
I have 63,000 miles and dealer says I have to pay for the repair since I am out of warranty. The AC should not go out this soon. Has probably been out since fall, but I didn't notice. Obviously LOTS of people are having this problem, not just me: parts are back ordered for WEEKS. Has anyone had any luck getting Chevy to cover the repair?

My truck just crested 38,500 miles and had the bracket and high-pressure line repaired under warranty as a known issue back in June of last year. The A/C compressor gave out yesterday at 38,500 miles and after a brief call to Chevrolet customer care, they said that there is no way they can extend goodwill of any sort towards my repair.
My company purchases and runs nearly 20 2500 series trucks in its' fleet and some of them go 50,000 hard miles per year. This failure is apparently only on the 1500 models and truly, it will discourage me not only from buying a new Chevrolet product but also putting any back into our fleet. It is a shame, since GM is known for having great air conditioning systems.
