Default 93 Astro Van skips 2nd gear

Driving from 0 to about 30 mph is done in nothing but 1st gear (at around 30 mph, rpms are VERY high). Then at around 31 mph, rpms go back down to where they should be (shifts to 3rd gear) and everything sounds fine. Going uphill the van sounds like a big 'ol logging truck.

Do you think I need to replace the clutch? I'm not really sure what to do to fix the problem.

Other than it skipping 2nd, it's a very smooth driver.

Does it get into 4th? Might be a shift solenoid.
