Default Cruise control and lighting

I have a 97 astro with 98,000 miles on it and the cruise control doesn't work. Also the day time running light symbol on the dash is on but none of the lights ar on. Any thought's? thanks

have you checked the fuses and or relays?

Ive checked all the fuses and they are good. As for relays i believe they are good not sure if i found all of them.

Are both of these problems connected. By this i mean do they use the same relay or fuse or anything like that? Also are the relays in the van or under the hood?
