Default lost keys, no spares, ignition switch and doors need locks replaced.

My keys were swiped today while i was working on other repairs on my ride. Some april fools day! Does anyone know if they ignition and doors can be redone by the average diy'er? Also the back door doesnt even have an unlock lever on the inside, is there any trick to getting it unlocked from the inside other than picking the lock? Thanks for any info. Not giving up on this nightmare van!

Go to the dealer with the vin and they can cut new keys for you.

Dealer with vin and registration.

Hopefully with keys you don't need to rip open the back door.

You can go to a locksmith and they can make keys for you, or you can go to a chevy truck recycler to get a set of locks(with key). Depending on the year, one key should fit all the locks. As far as the rear door, I have seen people remove the interior panel and run a small rod thru a hole for opening from the inside.

Hope this helps...

You should use lock picking techniques. The simplest way to open the majority of pin locks is to insert a key (or variety of keys) which have been cut so that each peak of the key is equal and has been cut down to the lowest groove of the key.
