Ok im genereally a Dodge person, but the wife decided that she wanted an Avalanche. So i gave her the benifit of the doubt and let her go get one. She bought an 08 LT3 with the 5.3 V8. Has anyone else thought that this motor is the new "gut less wonder"?
It already has a K&N cold air intake, annd flowmaster 50 series in it.
Had to gag the motor the other day and was not impressed by the power, is there something im missing or have I gotten too used to mopar power?
Not trying to stir the **** bucket here but just wondering what your opinions are....

 

check your vehicle weight Avalanches are very heavy 5.3 is ok in a 1/2 ton p/u but the heavy chevy could use a 6.0
