Default Z71 Shocks and Handling

I just recently picked up a 2006 Avalanche Z71. Amongst a few items to be looked into and replaced are the shocks. 80K on these that appear to be original Bilstien's? The front end exhibits a lot of float and bounce.

What shocks are factory, the Bilstien? Does anyone know where to pick these up and if so what part numbers.

Also, if my searching wasn't failing my eyes, it appears that the rear shocks for this thing are priced at $300 PLUS!!! Am I missing something here? My truck does have the rear leveling option. Are these people crazy?

Bilstiens are highly recommended in some of the Jeep forums (depending on application/lifts) Are these the go-to shock for the Z71 as well?

Thanks in advance.
