Default hooking up 2 batteries

I have a battery in the trunk of my 68 camaro, I want to put another battery in the front where it belongs, do I just hook the ground to the block and the second to the starter along with the battery that is already in the trunk and hooked up?

Default RE: hooking up 2 batteries

depending on what you are using the second battery in the truck for,you might want to use an isolator on that battery.
