Default No power to fuel pump

I have a 1990 Camaro RS. I used a light tester and it has a gray wire (no power), purple wire (slight light) and a black wire (ground?) going to the fuel pump. I decided to run a jumper wire that is hot when the ignition is turned on and connected it to the gray wire leading to the fuel pump and now the fuel pump will run. I get gas all the way to the throttle body, but the injectors will not spray. I replaced the injectors and ignition module under the distributor and even switched out the computer.. still nothing.

If anyone has any kind of insight into this problem, please, fill me in...

In my '92 Firebird I had a problem a lot like that. I swapped out the fuses and it took right to it, fixed it up fine. Sorry, thats all I can offer. Hope it helps!
