it runs great from 0 to 75, someone once told me that how it is geared low but didnt think they knew what they were talking about!! u think thats the problem u dont think it could be something as easy as a fuel filter

tc? throttle control nothing feels like it sticks <,but when i get to 75 it slows down to about 73 gotta stay at a certain rpm to not slow down but if i try to go 76 mph it drops on its face

no nothing sticks at all
its like its starved for fuel at 75
its feels like its running out of gas and then it catches back up when i let off throttle
thats why everyone tell me fuel filter
and they have told me its your rear end has low gears

Torque Converter. Is that locking up for O/D??.The TV cable being miss adjusted could cause that.If it isn't locking up that "could cause" valve float and the engine would slow down and regain RPM.Be careful that isn't the issue because some serious engine damage could occur.

i used to have a similar problem in my 76 monte carlo. the guy who built it put a high performance motor with a stock tranny and rear end. and im talking torker 2 intake, 750 carb, performance heads, 270 comp cam, headers, roller rockers, msd, the works....but a stock tranny, torque converter, and rear end gears. the car wasnt nearly as fast as it couldve been, slow off the line and it topped out at around 80mph and thats with the high gears that stock montes came out with....terrible....i got rid of it
