Question hopefully someone who is very smart when it comes to these motors.

Now here is my question..

my car sat at a shop..doing lots of work it went in running hard core with minor tweaks now it wont drive out of the drive way,backfires sputters dies.. Now

here is what is done to car..

Whole motor is stock but every component is brand new..

pulled cover for the chain 180 degrees out of time..now as ,i said everything has been replaced meaning everything.(can the camshaft bearings cause the timing to jump....

thats what i need to know if not then the f... My **** up and now im just fixing it all over again..

cam bearings won't cause timing to jump. a worn out timing chain and/or gears certainly will.

,thank you ,,.... Im thing i replaced the gears how can i tell if there are worn,,i mean worn meaing they look like round nubs or still pointy worn let me know thank you....
