Default Rebuilt 5.7 in place of the "baby" 4.3, what to look for at start up

First engine I have ever rebuilt and I start with the 5.7 LT1. What was I thinking. What kinds of sounds should I listen for and pay attention to when I first start this thing up? Assuming it does anyway as it seems that everyone is 50/50 on the computer recognizing the engine. This one is a 95 Caprice Classic, originally had the 4.3L V8 in it and now houses the true blue LT1. All new ignition system installed since I didn't want to carry any of the old stuff over, it all needed replaced anyway.

Well I fired her up and even though I followed the lifter tightening sequence she still rattled, but she ran and I am happy for that. 15 min adjusting valves and she sounds pretty darn good. Not bad for my first engine rebuild.
