2014 Rough Idle In Gear

As experienced by many others, I am having the rough idle issue on my 2014 Captiva.
I've come to realize this is not an engine management issue, it's in the transmission.
Those who have experienced it describe it as the engine idle being rough. However, if you put it in N or P, this issue does not happen.
After connecting my Torque Pro to the car and monitoring the car for awhile, the issues with the rough idle are definitely caused by the transmission.
My guess is that the torque converter is disengaging while idling, then engaging again, causing the engine idle to drop and make the car "jump" forward. This feels like the engine has a rough idle.
I've read over a bunch of forums about this particular issue and want to know if anyone has a TSB or other "fix" available.
Anyone know a proper channel to speak with GM about this and NOT get the runaround?
