Default 2000 Cav door locks problem.

I bought a 2000 Cavalier four door. This car has a strange door locks issue. If I manually lock the drivers side door then all the doors will lock except the passengers side front door which will not lock. If I lock the passengers side front door all doors will lock. If I'm trying to unlock the drivers side door to get into the car the doors want to re-lock. I have to hold the key to unlock the door and open it.

When I start the car the doors locks all lock and then unlock. This car does not have a button inside of the car to lock the doors. If this car had a keyless remote it was not included with the car.

How do I fix the problem? Thanks.

Its probably an electronic problem. Have you removed the door panels at all on your car? you might have connected the parts back together incorrectly

I just bought the car which is in really great condition. The only problem the car has is this door locks issue. I will take the door panels off.
