Question 5 speed tranny - rebuild or junk yard???

2000 Cavalier 2.4L w/5 speed manual tranny. Thought it was a broke axle. Turns out it's the tranny. Broken spider gear??? Trying to determine cost/difficulty to rebuild versus a used one from the junk yard. Car's in fairly decent shape. Appreciate some advice.

If I were you I would sell the whole car and buy a 95 f150 like mine. Never let me down and looks awesome!

depends on your skill level. used would be easier and faster. do the clutch while your in there.

don't get me started on ford's...I'm replacing a clutch in a 94 f150 as we speak. Yeah the engine's good. To bad ford can't rust protect the fenders...freaking rust bucket.
