Default 93 Cavalier Wiper Problem

I have a 93 Cavalier RS and for some reason the wipers do not work. There is a clicking sound coming from the wiper motor whenever I turn the wipers on and off.

My main question is, do the wiper switches inside the car go bad or is a wiring problem?

I have swapped out the wiper motor with three different ones that are functional, so I am ruling out the wiper motor.

Any info would be great!!

Default RE: 93 Cavalier Wiper Problem

have u mad sure the wiper arms are connected to the motor properly
i would take the motor out but leave it wired up and turn on the switch
if it moves
it might be the way ur wiper arms connect

or see if that clicking sound gets faster the higher you turn the speed up on the switch

since u say u put good motors on it it could be the way the arm connects to the motor
or the motor might connect to linkage then the arm or something like that

um yeah
good luck

Found the problem!!! "Electrical"

Broken wire in the harness. Can't explain how it was broke. I just got the car for free and said nothing about the wipers. They are fully functional now.

Thanks for your reply and I have done the wiper linkage thing before.

Have a great day!!
