Default Cavalier using more coolant in the winter?

I'm not exactly sure whats going on with my car in the winter. Right now, the weather is nice and hot and so, the coolant never drops or anything.

When winter hits, the car can go through as many as 2-3 jugs. I've never seen any leaks in the winter.

Any ideas?

Gaskets might expand slightly more when its hot outside to help stop a leak.

By jugs I assume you mean the gallon containers? If so 2 to 3 gallons in a few months is really hard not to see either its on the road the driveway the garage or blowing white smoke out your tail pipe. How its not leaking year round with that kind of leak I don't understand.

maybe your leak is getting progressively worse. You'll know next winter or better yet pressure test it now
