Hello, im new to the forums and in need of help. I am not a mechanic and am having trouble figuring out the issues im having.

1. Temperature Gauge in the dash stays on C, some times it will jump and show the accurate temp reading for a brief moment before going back to C. Usually does this on bumps, some turns, and at times when hitting the breaks.

2. The headlights are very dim, it seems the faster you go the dimmer the lights get. But when driving at night its hard to see anything and we have to actually follow other vehicles in order to avoid accidents when driving at night.

Could anyone give me some ideas on what the causes are and what are some things that would be relatively easy to check?
