Default Performance Chip

Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone out there know's anything about Performance chip. I was thinking about getting me one for my 2002 cavalier 2.2l but before i get one i wanted to know if it actually works. Oh one more question? How would you go about installing one and where can i find one besides Ebay or will the one's on ebay work ?.
