I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier. It seems like every time I turn around something needs fixing. I had to my car to a garage because the wires from the starter was loose. How does that happen? I have 108,000 miles on it. What should I expect to change or repair. I have no clue about cars...so please help! I don't want to be left stranded some where with a broken down car.

you should take it in for a tune up
spark plugs
plug wires
air filter
fuel filter
oil change
and have them check all the other fluids
dont go for a transmission flush
just a fluid change if anything
a coolant flush wouldnt hurt
as for what goes wrong with them
it is different on each car
good luck
